Aditya Seal Bags ‘Most Promising Actor’ Award At Dehradun Film Festival

 Aditya, 33, made his film debut in 2002 with Shashilal Nair's 'Ek Chhotisi Love Story'.

Aditya Seal, who was most recently seen as Humayun in Nikkhil Advani's web series 'The Empire,' won the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's'most promising actor award' at Friday's 6th Dehradun International Film Festival.

Aditya, who was presented with the award, said that Aditya had seen "some great documentaries and short films" at the festival. This festival will bring together young talents from all over the country. It is an honor to receive such a special award in this environment of so much talent.

 

Aditya, 33 years old, made his film debut with Shashilal Naair's 2002 film 'Ek Chhotisi Love Story. He played the role of a teenage boy opposite Manisha Kuirala. He has played a variety of roles since then in films like 'Tum Bin II, 'Indoo ki Jawani, and 'Student Of The Year 2 (SOTY 2), and the web series Fittrat.

 

The young actor is preparing for the release of "Rocket Gang", where he will be starring with Nikita dutta, choreographer Bosco Martis.

 

Aditya Seal previously spoke out about Indoo Ki Jawani, the romantic drama that starred Kiara Advani as the title Indoo. Aditya however claims that he doesn't fear being overshadowed and that everyone who has seen the film has enjoyed his performance as well as the chemistry he has with Kiara.

 

Aditya said, "Our characters are starkly opposite in the movie, so she (Kiara Advani), isn't entering my space and I amn't entering her space."

 

He said, "Our team watched this film with our friends and families. We are really complementing one another in it." In truth, I wasn't concerned about my role during filming. She is more famous than I am. It is a blessing that so many things are on her shoulders (laughs). It is a win-win for me because I did my job and got out from that place. Anyone who has seen the film has commented that it was one of my finest performances to date, and also appreciated our chemistry.

 

Aditya Seal began his acting career as a child actor. He was most notably seen in Manisha Koirala's Ek Choti Si Love Story. He was featured in films like Purani Jeans and Tum Bin 2 Namaste England, as well as Student Of The Year 2.

 

He said that his new role was a turning point in his life, but that he also understood the fear of covid-19 people and the fact that they are afraid to leave their home. Their decision to go to the theatres or not is theirs. You should take care of your health first and everything else is secondary.

 

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Indoo Ki Jawani was theatrically released on December 11, 2020.
